Mrs. Guy Lydolph
Lillian May, third daughter of John and Mary Hutchison, was born at Cincinnati, Iowa, Feb, 26, 1886 and departed this life at her home 4 miles north of Bonaparte May 5, 1910, aged 24 years, 2 months, and 9 days.
Dec. 24, 1904, she was united in marriage to Wm. Guy, eldest son of Ernest and Henrietta Lydolph. To this union were born four children. Thelma, Melvin, Doloha and William and although she was “willing to go” her one regret was in leaving her babies. She was a loving wife and devoted mother and was much loved and respected by all whom she met, being of kind and gentle disposition that won her many friends.
Although not a member of any church she was a firm believer in the Savior’s love.
By her death she leaves a sorrowing husband and friends a heart broken mother, of whom she was the favorite daughter, and three sisters, her father and brother having preceded her to the “Great Beyond.”
Her disposition was ever full of the “milk of human kindness,” and sorrowing relatives and friends can atone for their loss only by the consolation that she has gained the reward that comes to them that are meek and humble of spirit, and that their loss is her eternal gain.
Dear Lillian,
“Thou hast left us allweeping,
For thy kind, smiling face is nomore;
But with the angels thy vigils arekeeping,
To welcome us to the bright shore,
We see no more thy face and itsgreeting,
We hear no more they tread at the
door;
But in the bright celestial city thou
art meeting,
The friends thou wilt part from no more.”
-
We desire to thank the many friends who have kindly assisted us in our bereavement.
