Mrs. OOSTHOEK Rites Today

KEOSAUQUA, Ia. - Funeral services were held here this afternoon for Mrs. Eva Lena OOSTHOEK, 88, longtime Kilbourn resident, who died Friday at Van Buren Memorial hospital.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Albert McMurrin at the Catcott Funeral home. Burial was in the Kilbourn cemetery. Mrs. OOSTHOEK had made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Leslie COX, in Eldon for the past seven years.

She was born Aug. 8, 1877 at Mt. Zion, the daughter of Harvey and Kathryn POOL SLUTTS. She was married to Peter OOSTHOEK Dec. 30, 1896. He died in 1956.

In addition to her daughter, Mrs. OOSTHOEK is survived by five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Emma E. RAMSEY, Stockport, and Mrs Anna GEIGER, Birmingham.
