Olive Muntz

Olive Muntz, Farmington, R.R. 2 died Monday, August 4, at 6:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart hospital in Ft. Madison. She was 66 years old, born Aug. 5, 1891 at Farmington, the daughter of Richard and Sarah Weiher Watts.

She was a life long residence of Farmington and was married to Earl O. Muntz, on June 16, 1912 in Farmington; She was a member of the Baptist church.

Surviving are her husband, 2 sons, Melvin of Ft. Madison and Vernon of Burlington. 3 daughters Mrs. Larry Varner of Donnellson, Ardella Muntz of Farmington, and Maxine Kerr of Wilmington, Ill., one brother, Alden Watts of Bonaparte and 7 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother Elmer Watts.

Funeral services will be held from the Farmington Baptist church at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, with the Rev. John Salzman officiating.

Burial will be at the Thompson cemetery.
