Addie Mort Hootman Services Wednesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Addie Mort Hootman, 71, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Keosauqua Christian Church in charge of the Rev. Edna M. Fellows.

Burial was in the Miller Chapel cemetery. Pallbearers were Grover Johnson, Chester Barker, Arthur Williams, Lester Williams, Alva Arnold and Ray Randell.

Mrs. Hootman died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Workman in Trenton, Michigan.

She was born in Van Buren county July 11, 1875, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Teal. She was married to Elmer Mort and they were the parents of two children, Leo Mort of Milton and Mrs. Workman. After Mr. Mort’s death, she was married to Chester Hootman, who also preceded her in death.

Besides her two children, she is survived by her brother, Cass Teal of Kilburne, three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
