Mrs. Grant Higdon Succumbs at 68

Funeral Will Be Wednesday Afternoon; Leaves Husband, 2 Sons and 4 Daughters.

Mrs. Grant Higdon died Sunday evening at her home a few miles north of Keosauqua after being ill of heart disease several months. She was 68 years old.

Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Mrs. John Workman of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. K. E. Jensen of Champaign, Ill., Mrs. Fern Griffiths of Keosauqua and Mrs. George Regur of Keosauqua; two sons, Lee Higdon of Medina, Ohio, and Edward Higdon of Colorado Springs, Colo; four sisters, Mrs. Winifred Syfert, Mrs. Bertha Fellows and Mrs. James Nies of Keosauqua and Mrs. Edgar Buckles of Des Moines, and two brothers, Albert Lazenby of Cantril and William Lazenby of Keosauqua.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Christian church in Keosauqua at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon in charge of the pastor, the Rev. Edna M. Fellows. Burial will be at the Fellows cemetery at Keosauqua.
