Erma Magdalene Stump, 94, of Loveland, died Feb. 10 at McKee Medical Center in Loveland.
She was born Oct. 29, 1899, in New London, Iowa, to James Columbus Ferrel and Anna Mallams Ferrel. She married Charlie Albert Stump on April 12, 1918, in Libertyville, Iowa. He died on June 18, 1963.
She came to Loveland in 1964 from Fairfield, Iowa. She was a homemaker and worked the family farm in Iowa. She also worked at Jefferson County Hospital and Libertyville High School.
She was a member of the Pithian Sisters in Iowa, the Methodist Women's society, Keystone Class, and several bridge clubs. She belonged to the first United Methodist Church. She enjoyed embroidery, sewing, crochet and hand-quilting.
She is survived by a daughter, Darlene Hoenshel Fogland, Loveland; a brother, Robert Ferrell and wife Alberta, Mesa, Ariz.; a sister, Elaine Bonnett, Fairfield, Iowa; two grandsons, Wendell Charles Fogland and wife Sandra, and Douglas Fogland; a granddaughter, Vonda Fogland, Loveland; and two great-grandsons, Wendell Charles Fogland II and Rodney Fogland, Loveland.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, James, Frank, Lloyd, Ivyl, Floyd and Wilbur; and four sisters, Emily, Esther, Elsa, and Evelyn.
Viewing will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Allnutt Funeral Service's Hunter Chapel.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Phillip Tarman and the Rev. Richard Senn of First United Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery, Iowa, at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church.
