Beryl B. BROWN

Beryl B. BROWN, age 74, RR1, Birmingham, died Friday, Aug. 26, 1988 at 6:40 a.m. at Van Buren Co., Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 16, 1914 in the Bonnett Community near Birmingham. She lived most of her in Winchester and Bonnett Communities in Van Buren County.

She was the daughter of Dale C. and Hazel HOOTMAN BONNETT. She married Fred A. BROWN on April 28, 1935 in the Bonnett Community. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Birmingham and the Presbyterian Women. She served for many years on the Birmingham Library Board.

She was preceded in death by her husband on Sept. 2. 1984. Her parents and one sister also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Clifford BROWN. her daughter Barbara FITZWATER, both of Birmingham, six grandchildren, one great grandson and one sister Virdie LEAVITT of Washington, Iowa.

Funeral services were Monday, Aug. 29 at 2:00 p.m. at the Birmingham Presbyterian Church, Rev. Charles McCracken officiating. Burial was in Winchester Cemetery near Stockport. Memorials to the Birmingham Library and Birmingham Presbyterian Church.

Burch-Raymond Funeral Home of Birmingham was in charge of arrangements.
