Esther BESWICK

Esther Eileen BESWICK, 81, of Fairfield, died at 8:10 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2005, at Nelson Nursing Home in Fairfield.

The funeral is scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Michael Renken officiating. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery south of Birmingham.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the senior citizens congregate meal site in Stockport.

Mrs. BESWICK was born Oct. 13, 1923, in Birmingham, the daughter of Albert and Dulcea GIRE CANADAY. She married Gerald BESWICK April 27, 1946, in Fairfield.

She lived her life in the Stockport community. She graduated from Birmingham High School.

Mrs. BESWICK was a farm homemaker, worked in the Stockport Telephone office and was manager of the senior citizens congregate meal site in Stockport. She was a member of square dance clubs and Laugh A Lot Club.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Joyce ACKERMAN and husband George of Mount Vernon; one son, Jerry BESWICK of Stockport; one brother, Ernest CANADAY of Fairfield; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Ralph, Fred and Carroll CANADAY.
