LEWIS HOOTMAN

Lewis HOOTMAN, 76, was killed in an auto accident in Selma, at 8 p.m. Monday. He was a retired farmer and Morrell employe.

Born Oct. 4, 1890, near Douds, to William Henry and Laura CRAWFORD HOOTMAN.

Survivors include three sisters, Miss Alice HOOTMAN of Eldon, Mrs. Iva COHENOUR of Ottumwa and Mrs. Ella PARROTT of Douds; and one brother, Walter of Douds.

Services will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with the Rev. Dennis Nicholson of Douds Christ Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Mount Moriah cemetery near Douds with Odd Fellow rites at graveside.
