Glen F. McMillan
Glen F. McMillan, eldest son of Theodore and Ella McMillan, was born on a farm in Scotland county, Missouri, April 11, 1889 and departed this life at Birmingham Iowa, September 26, 1942 at he the age of 52 years, 5 months, and 15 days.
On September 8, 1920, he was united In marriage to Florence Miller at Bloomfield, Iowa. To this union was born one daughter. Mrs. Lavada Robertson of Waterloo, Ia.
Most of his life was spent on the farm in Scotland county, Mo. Owned by him at the time of his death. He and his wife moved to Cantril a few years ago and at the time of his death was senior driver of the bus line between Birmingham and the Ordnance plant at Burlington, Ia.
He was a World War Veteran and a member of the local post, American Legion.
Several years ago he united with the Mt. Olive Methodist church and still retained his membership there.
He leaves his companion. The daughter before mentioned , a brother, Ray I McMillan of Davenport, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his departure.
The body was tenderly laid to rest in the Maple Grove cemetery at Cantril, Iowa with military honors.
