John Daughters Found Dead in Bed Last Monday

John C. Daughters, 84, was found dead in bed last Monday morning at his home near Hitt, Missouri, where he had lived for many years. He was born in Lee county, Iowa. His wife died several years ago and he made his home with his only son and daughter, Guy Daughters and Miss Effie Daughters.

Funeral services were held at the Richland Baptist church near Hitt, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock in charge of the Rev. Dan Newland. Burial was in the Richland cemetery. (The rest of the obituary is unreadable.)
