Dwight Wilson Bingaman, son of Dennis and Ethel Wilson Bingaman was born September 9, 1923, in Van Buren County, and departed this life Sunday, May 10, 1981, at his farm home in the Lebanon community northeast of Milton, Iowa, at the age of 57.
He spent his life farming in the same neighborhood.
On June 3, 1961, he married Edith Gibson at West Grove, Iowa. She remains to cherish his memory with their two daughters, Truenea and Ivalue, both at home, his mother of Milton, Iowa, other relatives and many friends.
He was a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 13, 1981 at the Lebanon United Methodist Church with Rev. Carl Wilson and Rev. Chris Daniel officiating. Mrs. Nola Wilson was the soloist, accompanied by Mrs. Beryl Beeler. Pallbearers were Joe Kirkhart, Paul Hedge, Bruce Lyon, Hollis Wells, Jimmy Wilson, and Rodger Bingaman. Interment was in Lebanon Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of Pedrick Funeral Home. A memorial was established for his church.
