MRS. FRANK RANSOM

Eldon -- Mrs. Carrie RANSOM, 68, wife of Frank RANSOM, died at her home in Selma at 5 p.m. Friday after being ill since last July. Mrs. RANSOM had lived at Selma for the last 52 years.

She was married to Mr. RANSOM April 3, 1900. She was a member of the Junto Rebekah lodge of Selma for 18 years, and was preceded in death by a son, Jay MILAN, by a former marriage. She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. George MATHIAS of Selma, Mrs. Harry PEARSON of Libertyville and Mrs. Floyd FERREL of Birmingham; 19 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Selma Methodist church with the Rev. E. K. Parrott in charge. Burial will be in the Iowaville cemetery. The body will be removed this evening from the Campbell funeral home to the Ransom home in Selma.
