Ethel F. Bingaman, 88, of rural Milton died at 10:20 p.m. March 17, 1985, at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.
She was born on June 20, 1896, on a farm 4 1/2 miles northeast of Milton, where she lived most of her life, to James and Mary Ellen Weatherington-Wilson. She married Dennis E. Bingaman on April 14, 1923. He died in 1975. She had been a school teacher and was a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.

She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Edith Bingaman of Milton; two granddaughters, Truenea and Ivalue; and a brother Craig Wilson of Milton. She was preceded in death by a son, Dwight, in 1981.

The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Lebanon United Methodist Church, the Rev. Chris Daniel officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery.

Visitation is open at the Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.
Memorials to her church may be left at the funeral home.
