Salesman Dies on Sidewalk
F.H. Finn, 43, Expires of Heart Attack at Downtown CornerFloyd H Finn, 43, 1733 S Lakeport street, a salesman for the New Idea Farm Machinery company died after a heart attack on the sidewalk at Fifth and Douglas streets about 1 o'clock Sunday morning. He left home shortly after midnight and was found less that an hour later by Dale H Tetterman, 1637 W Fourth street, who called police.
Mr. Finn had been suffering from a heart ailment for sometime. He had been in a hospital three times for treatment, Mrs. Finn said.
A large crowd gathered at the street corner until the coroner arrived and ordered the body removed.
Born March 15, 1901 at Bonaparte, Ia., Mr. Finn came to Sioux City from Des Moines about six months ago. He was a member of the Moose lodge at Des Moines and the Baptist church.
Survivors are the widow, Goldie; his parents, Mr and Mrs L.J. Finn of Bosworth, Mo., and a sister Mrs. Leatha Fleming of Newton Ia.
The body will be sent today from the Winter funeral home to Bosworth, where funeral services will be held Wednesday.

Floyd was the son of Lawrence James and Addie Corns Finn, both born Van Buren county and the grandson of James Ramsay and Sarah Caroline Finn of Bonaparte. He was my second cousin.
