DEATH OF MRS. L.J. FINN

Mrs. L.J. Finn, a former resident of this community, died at the Susan Nursing home in Chillicothe last Thursday evening at the age of 78.

Surviving are her husband, a daughter, grandson, two sisters and a daughter-in-law.

Funeral services conducted by Rev. Walter Cox were held at the Bosworth Baptist church SUnday afternoon and burial was made in the Wharton cemetery.

Mrs. Lawrence Finn Services at Bosworth

Mrs. Lawrence Finn, age 78, a Bosworth resident the past twenty years, died Thursday, April 25, at the Susan Nursing home in Chillicothe. She had been ill several weeks.

Addie M Corns Finn daughter of Sylvester and Angelina Corns, was born February 16, 1879 in Van Buren county, Iowa. She had lived in Missouri thirty years, including the past two decades in Bosworth.

On December 31, 1899, she was married to Lawrence J Finn, who survives at the home. Mrs. Finn is also survived by one daughter Mrs. Letha Fleming, Newton, Iowa, while one son Floyd Finn preceded her in death November 12, 1944.

In addition to the husband and daughter, she also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Edna Christman, Texas City, Texas and Mrs. Clara Rash, Indiana; one grandson Larry Fleming and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Goldie Finn, Des Moines, Iowa.

Mrs. Finn was a member of the Bosworth Baptist church and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Funeral services were held at the Bosworth Baptist church, Sunday afternoon conducted by the Rev. Walter C. Cox. Interment was in Wharton cemetery.

The Leipard and Edwards funeral home was in charge of the rites.

Obituary was published in the Republican Record May 3, 1957, Bosworth, Missouri.

Addie's husband was my great uncle. Her mother's maiden name was Stice.
