Mrs. Margaret Swank
Margaret Jane, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Barnett, was born in Iowa May 17, 1864, and died January 30, 1946, age 81 years, 8 months and 17 days. She was united in marriage at the age of 16 years to Lorenzo E. Swank in August, 1880. To this union were born four children, three girls and one boy. The husband and the three daughters, Pearl, Belle and Flo, preceded her in death.
She with her family came to Kansas in 1887 and resided here until 1890 when they went to Oklahoma. After two years they returned to Osborne county and made their home near Covert where she continued to reside since the death of her husband. She had been in failing health for the last ten years.

She leaves to mourn her passing one son, Glenn of Cowles, Neb., four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in the Methodist church at Covert on Friday, Feb. 1st at 2:00 o'clock, coducted by Rev. H.S. Opliger, and burial was made in the Covert cemetery.

I'm related to this person she is my great great grandmother. Her son Glenn is my great granddad.
