Lifetime Resident Dies Near Douds
Sarah Wolfe Succumbed Thursday Noon Following Long Illness; 2 Daughters Survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Wolfe, 79, were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Pedrick funeral home in Douds. Services were in charge of Albert DeGroot. Music was by Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Barker accompanied by Mrs. Craig Miller at the piano. Pallbearers were Asa L. Fellows, Owen Doud, Homer Miller, Fred Fellows , Erin Fellows and O. L. Hewitt. Burial was in the Leando cemetery.
Mrs. Wolf died June 28, at 12:10 noon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bruce L Harryman, 3 miles south of Douds, following a three-year illness. She had been seriously ill for two weeks. She was born on a farm east of Douds and spent her entire life in this community.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Emmett Morrow of Wever, Iowa, and Mrs. Harriman, four grandsons and three great grandson.
