John W. Dunlap Buried at Keosauqua

Had Been Struck By A Car Last March, Received Injuries That Later Proved Fatal.

John W. Dunlop died Thursday, May 31, at his home in Burlington. He had been seriously injured when struck by the automobile in March of this year.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Giles funeral home in Burlington, with the interment in Purdom Cemetery near Keosauqua.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dunlap of Keosauqua and was for sometime employed at the J. C. Strickling drug store. Later he operated a drugstore at Melcher, Iowa, for several years. At the time of his death he was employed in a drugstore at Burlington.

He was a bachelor and during recent years has made his home with his sister, Mrs. Emma MacArthur and daughter, Myrtle. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Cora.
