A very sad and untimely death occurred to Mrs. Lillie Skinner, wife for Geo. N. Skinner, living about 2 1/2 miles southwest of Birmingham, Saturday morning, Jan. 31. The deceased was a daughter of Capt. Wm. H. Randall. She left a little baby, but, alas, life here was too coarse for the little plantlet. The mother was consigned to the tomb on Sunday, and on the following Tuesday the grave was opened and the babe was buried in the same coffin with the mother.
