Beatrice L. Schultz
Beatrice L. Schult, daughter of David and Mary Martin Harward, was born December 4, 1903 near Floris and died the morning of Saturday, Nov.12, 1988 at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center, Keosauqua, at the age of 84.
She was a homemaker, had taught school early in life, and had lived in Davis and Van Buren Counties, in Illinois and Arkansas, and the past 17 years in Cantril.
She married James Schultz September 8, 1923 in Mount Pleasant.
Surviving are her husband, two sons, James Jr., Cathedral City, California, and Charles, Campbellsburg, Ind.,three daughters, Ellen Long and Blanche Hauptman, both of Bloomington, Illinois and Vivian "Jynn" Zook, Dubuque, 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Graveside services were held Monday, Nov. 14, 1989 at l P.M. in Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington, Ill. A memorial, was established for Van Buren Good Samaritan Center. Arrangements were in charge of Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua.
