Fred R. Hauer

Fred R. Hauer, 88, of 2116 S. 16th St., Burlington, Iowa, died at 10:06 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 1988, at Burlington Medical Center.

Born May 27, 1900, in Burlington, he was the sone of Frank F. and Sadie Morgan Hauer. He married Neva Brandstetter Dec. 13, 1942, Kahoka, Mo.

He was employed as a machinist with J.I. Case Co. for 20 years. He was a member of the First Christian Church.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Marie Settles, Keosauqua; four grandchildren; one niece; and one nephew.

A graveside service for Mr. Hauer was at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 1988 in Aspen Grov~ Cemetery with the Rev. Andrew Pate officiating.

A memorial has been established for the First Christian Church.
