Thursday, May 6, 1976May BRUDERS Dies at 77
Mrs. May L. BRUDERS, 77, native of Mount Sterling, died about 2:15 a.m. today at the Sperry Nursing Home in Chillicothe, Mo. She had been ill for several months.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Fred Schmid, Ottumwa, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Friday.
May L. BRUDERS was born May 1, 1899, at Mount Sterling in Van Buren County, the daughter of George and Rose ARCHER PARSONS. She spent most of her life in the Fairfield community.
Her marriage to Earl R. BRUDERS took place May 20, 1918, at St. Louis, Mo. He died Sept. 18, 1952.
Survivors include two sons and two daughters, Clyde O. BRUDERS, Braymer, Mo.; Earl J. BRUDERS, Fairfield; Mrs. Erwin HAYNES, Boone; and Mrs. Dale GOFF, Brighton.
Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; one half-brother, Cleve Parsons, Kahoka, Mo.
She was preceded in death by one son, two sisters and one brother.
