KEOSAUQUA-Funeral services for Creighton C. Peterson,80, of Mount Sterling who died suddenly Wednesday morning, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mount Sterling Methodist Church. The Rev. Herbert Phillips, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Harness Cemetery. He was the son of John and Emma Barr Peterson and was born Oct. 17, 1887, near Azen, Mo. He was married Dec. 9, 1908, to Doris Bell of Mount Sterling. They lived on a farm near Mount Sterling. He was a licensed embalmer and assisted at local funeral homes.

Survivors include his widow, Doris; two sons, Howard of Las Vegas, Nev., and Harold of Everett, Wash.; two daughters, Lillian Cook of Edmonds, Wash., and Claribel Manary of Fairfield; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
