Margaret LaMier

KEOSAUQUA - Mrs. Margaret A. LaMier, 84, a former Keosauqua resident, died Satrurday at 10:30 a.m. at a Benton, Ark., hospital.

She was born June 21, 1892, in Farmington to Benjamin and Harriett Anthony Kepler. Her husband, Joseph Hall LaMier, preceded her in death.

A longtime Keosauqua resident, she had lived the past 10 years with a daughter, Mrs. Sam (Andy) Anderson in Benton. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. James Fulton of West Des Moines and Mrs. Anderson; one son, Joe of Texas; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ben Kepler of Texas; and one sister, Mrs. Beatrice Bauer of Aurora, Ill.

The service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. John Cornish officitating. Burial will be at Purdom Cemetery.
