Margaret A. LaMier

Margaret A. LaMier, daughter of Benjamin and Harriett Anthony Kepler, was born June 21, 1892, in Farmington and departed this life Saturday July 24, 1976, at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, Arkansas at the age of 84.

She grew up in Farmington and married Joseph P. LaMier there in June 23, 1911. They lived in Seaton, Illinois, in Farmington and many years in Keosauqua.

Mr. LaMier died in 1947. Since his death she had lived with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. S.L. (Andy) Anderson, first in Keosauqua, later in the Des Moines and the past ten years in Benton, Arkansas.

Remaining to cherish her memory are two daughters, Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. James Fulton of West Des Moines; and a son, Joe LaMier of Houston, Texas.

Also surviving are six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Beatrice Bauer of Aurora, Ill., nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. LaMier was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church.
