PIONEER PASSES AWAY
Aaron Hull, an early day resident of Iowa, died at his home in Cantril, Feb. 24, 1914. Deceased was born in Trumbull connty [sic], Ohio, April 17, 1837. He came to Iowa with his parents in 1846 and settled in Burlington. Jan. 22, 1860, he was maried to Hester Patten, and then he and his young wife came to Van Buren county and made their home at Home Prairie. To them five children were born, four of whom are living. They are Vactor, Etta Roberts, Charles and Lizzie Roberts of Cantril. His first wife died in June, 1904. In 1905 he was married to Katherine Gibson and has since resided in Cantril. He was a good man and highly respected. A kind and considerate father, his memory will be deeply cherished by those left to mourn his death. The Tribune extends sympathy to the bereaved ones.
Funeral services were held at the M. E. church this forenoon at 10:30 o'clock and were conducted by Rev. F. A. Smith. Interment in Hoskin cemetery.
