MRS. SARAH AKEY

Sarah Akey, daughter of Peter and Mary Akey, was born in Ohio, November 6, 1837, and departed this life for the home beyond, March 15, 1924, at the age of 86 years, 4 months and 9 days.

Only one brother, Henry, remains to mourn the loss of a loving sister. She also leaves nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends who feel their loss keenly.

In early girlhood she united with the Methodist church to which she remained faithful to the end. She was faithful in attendance of Divine worship until some ten years ago when her hearing became poor, and her general health bad, so that it was difficult for her to attend since that time. She was true to her Lord and Master, and we trust He has said "well done," and that she is enjoying the songs of Moses and the Lamb.

Funeral service was conducted by Rev. J. C. Austin, pastor of the Douds charge. Text: Hebrews 10:23, "He is faithful that promised" Revelation 2:11 "Be thou faithful until death, and I will give thee a crown of life." Music of Eli Heckart, Leslie Swiers, S. C. Ream and Mrs. Nellie Duffield.

The attendance was quite good considering the condition of the roads and weather.

"Then shall the King say unto them on His right hand, come ye, blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world."
