OBITUARY
Asinda Pamela Meek was born Aug. 26, 1848 Bonaparte, Ia. Departed this life Dec. 10, 1912, at her home in Cantril, Ia. She was united in marriage to Samuel Estep Foster, Oct. 4, 1871. To this union was born 9 children, 4 of whom died in infancy and awaited their mother's coming. Also Effie May Pittman who also preceeded her mother when 28 yrs. of age. Those that stil survives [sic] are Myrtle McLane who now resides at Prosser, Wash., Nannie McManis at Cantril, Kate Saar of Henderson, Ia., and John who still resides at home. She leaves to mourn their loss a loving husband 4 children 10 grandchildren 4 brothers 2 step-brothers and a number of relatives and friends. She was converted and united with the Baptist church when 15 yrs. of age and lived an earnest faithful Christian untill the Master called her home.
She has been a fufferer [sic] for the past 6 years, but too her deat [sic] was only the parting of the Cloud Curtain through which she passed to Rest. She was a devoted wife a kind and loving mother and always a faithful friend.
