OBITUARY
Roland T. McDonald, Sr.

Mr. Roland T. McDonald, Sr., son of William and Mary McDonald was born December 8, 1842 in Clearmont County, Ohio and came with his parents to Van Buren County, Iowa when he was 7 years of age. Two years later the family moved to Clark County, Missouri, returning in two years to Iowa again, living here the balance of his life. His two brothers Evererd [sic] and William McDonald and two sisters Elizabeth Blackledge and Caroline Silver preceded him in death. He leaves twelve nephews and nieces besides a host of friends to mourn his loss.

He passed away on Friday February 12, 1932 at the County Home being 89 years, 2 months and 4 days of age. Short services and burial Saturday at McDonald cemetery.

The relatives wish to express their thanks to those who assisted in the interment of Mr. McDonald.
