W. A. Armstrong Succumbs at 74

Mt. Sterling Resident Leaves Wife, 2 Daughters, 3 Grandchildren; Sister Critically Ill

William A. Armstrong died at his home in Mt. Sterling at 7:15 o'clock Monday evening. He was 74 years old and had been in failing health for two years. On October 5 he suffered a stroke of paralysis, which left him in a semi-conscious condition.Mr. Armstrong leaves his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Nina White of Canyon, Tex., and Mrs. Mildred Seman of San Francisco, Calif.; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren, and two sisters, Miss Nell Armstrong of Indiana and Mrs. Doll Smith of Roseville, Ill. A son, Gene, died in 1934. Mrs. Smith is critically ill in Roseville.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Mt. Sterling at 10:30 o'clock Wednesday morning. Burial was at Harness cemetery.
