Funeral for Mt. Sterling Farmer Conducted at Keosauqua; Burial at Prall Cemetery

William Wiley, 78, well-known farmer living four miles northwest of Mt. Sterling, died at his home at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon.

Mr. Wiley made his home with his brother James Wiley and niece Miss Mable Wiley, and was active in farm work until last spring, when he suffered a stroke of paralysis. His health had been failing rapidly since that time but he was able to be out until a week before his death.

Funeral services were conducted at the Burnett funeral home in Keosauqua at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Burial was at Prall Cemetery.
