OBITUARY
MICHAEL N. SADLERMichael Nebraska Sadler, third child of George and Adeline Sadler, was born January 2, 1854, in Van Buren county near Douds. After a severe cold he developed heart disease that resulted in his death January 8, 1936, at his home in Lebanon, aged 81 years, 11 months and 14 days.
On July 9, 1876, he was married to Mary E. Piper, who preceded him in death, May 11, 1926. To this union were born four children, three of whom died in infancy. One son, George F. Kearns, grew to manhood and preceded his parents in death February 3, 1920.
Mr. Sadler became a member of the Methodist church many years ago. His entire life was spent in Van Buren county where he was a successful farmer. He was always a kind neighbor and friend and was of a cheerful disposition although physically handicapped by deafness.
He is survived by one brother, M. L. Sadler, of Douds; his only sister, Mrs. Mary A. Ogilbee, of Portland, Oregon; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Emma Sadler, two grandchildren, George and Lela Sadler, also Mrs. George Sadler of Lebanon, and many other relatives and friends.
