OBITUARY
Anna L. Warner, oldest daughter of Alva J. and Elizabeth Warner, was born March 7, 1879, at Lebanon, Iowa, and died at her home east of Milton, September 8, 1930, aged 51 years, 6 months and 1 day.
On December 12, 1894, she was united in marriage to O. A. Davis. To this union was born one son, Earl J., of Pulaski, Iowa. Besides the husband and son she leaves to mourn their loss her father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Alva J. Warner of Milton; two grandchildren, Dean and Beverly Jeanne Davis, in whom she took great pride and dearly loved; one sister, Mrs. G. H. Jones, and one niece, Miss Vedis Brooks, both of Rock Island, Ill.
When fiteen [sic] years of age she united with the Methodist church at Milton, where she continued her membership until the time of her death. She was a member of the Berean Sunday school class, of the Pythian Sisters and Order of the Eastern Star, all of Milton, and as always ready and willing to do her part as long as her health would permit her to do so. Her last sickness was of more than two years duration and during that time she was a patient sufferer and always answered with a smile, "I'm airtight," never complaining about her condition. She was a great lover of her home and thought always of the comforts of the family.
Rev. C. B. Rayhill was in charge of the service; interment at Sunnyside cemetery.
