BRYAN FUNERAL AT SMITH HOME
77 Year Old Former Azen Resident Dies at Kartar, Wash.; Niece Survives

Funeral services for Julian Bryan of Kartar, Wash., were held at the home of his niece, Mrs. Floyd Smith, in Cantril at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon. The Rev. W. W. Griffith of Cantril officiated. Burial was at the Cantril cemetery beside the grave of his twin sister, Mrs. Juliet Abernathy, who died two years ago. Mrs. Abernathy was the mother of Mrs. Smith.

Mr. Bryan who was 77 years old and who had moved to the West when 17 years old from his former home near Azen, Mo., died at Kartar on December 23. Funeral services were held at Oknogan, Wash., on December 27 and the body was taken to Spokane for cremation. The funeral urn arrived in Cantril Tuesday.
