Hamilton "Bud" Cunningham died of a heart attack about 9 o'clock Tuesday morning while sitting in a chair at his home in Cantril. He had been in his usual state of health and his wife thought he was taking a nap when she left the room. When she returned in a few moments she discovered he was dead.

Mr. Cunningham, who would have been 84 years old on January 27, is survived by his wife; two sons, J. L. Cunningham and Ray Cunningham, of Cantril; and two grandsons.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon by the Rev. A. M. Hadley at the Christian church in Cantril. Music was by a quartet, Mrs. Geneva Jones, Mrs. Tressa Price, John Van Fleet and B. C. Casady.

Burial was at the Cantril cemetery. Six nephews of Mr. Cunningham were bearers.
