George L. Saddler 1879 - 1948

George L. Saddler first saw light of day November 20, 1879 in Bonaparte, Iowa. He was the son of Charles L. and Sarah Stackbarger Saddler. He has lived at his late home address in Chicago for the past 27 years.
He had finished his homework when the Angel of the Deep Sleep visited him August 16, 1948 and his goodbye to all will never be forgotten. He will be greatly missed by his family. His family, relatives and a host of friends will carry many years of memories in our circle.
He was laid to his final resting ground in Forest Home Cemetery in Chicago, August 19, 1948.
His family to mourn him are his beloved wife, Caroline Saddler; one son, Ernest C. Saddler; one daughter, Mrs. Edith Vlahos; a granddaughter, Patricia Vlahos; three sisters, Myrtle Bennett, Bonaparte, Iowa; Katherine Scott, LaHarba, Calif.; Nellie D. Dever, Iowa City, Iowa; two brothers, Beird Saddler, Boone, Iowa; and Ross Saddler, Ft. Madison, Iowa.
Preceding him in death are his farther, Charles L. Saddler, mother, Sarah S. Saddler, one brother, Charles Saddler, Amarillo, Texas, and one sister, Jessie Weiher, Bonaparte, Iowa.
