EDNA J. BREWSTER-WAEVER
PROVIDENCE-
Edna Jane Brewster-Weaver, 96, formerly of Butler Avenue, former treasurer of the Rhode Island Women's Club, died yesterday at the Bethany Home, where she lived since 1976. She was the widow of Edson L. Weaver. Her first husband was the late Otto C. Brewster.
Born in Van Buren County, Iowa, a daughter of the late John B. and Eliza (Cummings) Willits, she came to Providence in 1963.
Mrs. Weaver had also been the former treasurer of the Providence branch of the International Sunshine Society. She was a former treasurer of Clark County, Missouri, and had been a clerk for the Selective Service System for 12 years. She was a member of the Central Congregational Church, the Missionary Club and the Hamiliton House.
She leaves twins sons Howard R. Brewster of Barrington and Harold D. Brewster of Warwick; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Bethany Home, 11 South Angell St.EWeaver-Brewster,

Edna was the wife of my great uncle Otto Brewster.
