Mary Ada Rigsby, the youngest child of Benj. and Louise Rigsby, was born near Vernon, Ia, July 12, 1880 and departed this life April 28,1913, being at the date of death, 32 years, 9 months and 16 days old. She was married to Mr. James Jones, December 19,1909. As Mrs. Jones was the last surviving member of the Benjamin Rigsby family, Mr. and Mrs. Jones continued to reside on the Rigsby homestead, and so Mamie, as she was popularly called by her friends, never had but one home. She was preceded to the land past by her father, mother, two brothers and one sister and leaves to mourn the loss her husband, a baby daughter, not four weeks old,and a nephew Master Van Rigsby, of Keosauqua, together with other relatives and many friends. The funeral services were conducted in the Vernon Methodist Church, April 30,1913, and the remains laid to rest in the Vernon Cemetery,
