Paul S. Jones,83, Bonaparte, died March 23, at the Van Buren Co. Hospital in Keosauqua. He was born Aug 25,1904 at Libertyville. He moved to Bonaparte from Clark County, Mo, in 1973, and was a retired farmer. On Feb. 28,1922, at Keosauqua, he married Esther Mae Stevenson, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Donald of Dumas, Tx and Dale of Donnellson; a daughter, Arlene Cass, Yarmouth; 21 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons and 15 brothers and sisters. His parents were Robert and Elvida Gardner Jones. Funeral services were held at the Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington on March 26. Burial will be in the Greenglade Cemetery, Farmington.
