Zula Winkler,87, of Keosauqua, died Jan. 6,1998, at the Van Buren Co. Hospital in Keosauqua. She was born April 17,1910, in Garland Wy, to Francis Earl and Rosa E. Miller Davis. She married Granville Winkler on July 27,1933. He died in 1985. She moved to rural Keosauqua in 1988. She had worked at the J.C. Penney store in Everett, Wa. She is survived by a son, Fred "Bud" of Bonaparte; a daughter, Donna McCracken of rural Keosauqua; eight grandchildren, six step grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandchild. The service was Jan. 9 at the Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington. Burial was in Cypress Lawn in Everett,Wa.
