Milton Man Fifth Victim

Glen Campbell of Milton was killed early Saturday night when his pick up truck went off a 15 foot embankment on the Memphis road a half mile south of Milton. The accident occured when Campbell, a plumber is thought to have driven to far to the right in passing a wagon in the twilight, causing the truck to roll over the embankment. Mr. Campbell a former resident of Bedford, is survived by his wife and two children. He is the fifth person to be killed in traffic accidents in Van Buren Co. in 1940. Funeral services will be conducted the the Presbyterian Church in Milton and burial will be in the Milton Cemetery.
