Harold H."Stub" Jemison, son of Oscar and Anna Ewing Jemison was born Oct. 3,1913, in Keosauqua and departed this life the morning of Feb. 6,1986, at the Van Buren Co. Hospital , Keossauqua, at the age of 72. Stub spent his life in Keosauqua and was a long time employee of the Western Auto Store. He married Sara Mae Tucker in Fairfield, Feb.24,1946. She died in 1963. His parents, brothers Carl, Phil and Maurice and sister, Irma preceded him in death. Surviving are cousins, nieces, and nephewes and friends including the Gordon Brannon family with whom he was associated in business for many years. Funeral services were held Feb. 8,1986 at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua. Interment was was in Purdom Cemetery, Keosauqua, with military rites by Beer-Barker Post 113,Keosauqua.
