Sara Mae Tucker, daughter of Rollin and Mae Tucker, was born Oct. 9,1926, in Farmington and passed away at the Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua at the age of 36 years, 8 months and 6 days. She graduated from Farmington High School in 1944. Shortly thereafter she went to work for McBeth and Stong as a secretary in the law office, continuing to work for Mr. Stong until her last illness. On Feb. 24,1946 she was united in marriage to Harold Jemison of Keosauqua, where they make their home. She was preceded in death by her father. Surviving are her husband Harold, her mother, Mrs. Mae Tucker of Farmington; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Turner of Clifton Hills, Mo, and Mrs. Estella Hollin of Milton; five brothers, Maxwell of Madison South Dakota, Merle and Elwood of Farmington, Norval of Iowa City, and Horton of Fairmount, Mn. Also nieces, neohews and a host of friends
