Carl Henry Jemison, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Jemison of South Keosauqua was born near the present home Oct. 22,1909, and passed away Dec. 20,1924, at the age of 15 years, 1 month and 24 days. Carl spent his short lifespan in Keosauqua and attended school, being a member of the 8th grade. He leaves to mourn his father and mother, one sister, Erma, three brothers, Phil, Maurice and Harold; grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins, a host of friends and playmates. Funeral services were held at the Christian church and interment was in Purdom cemetery.
