Paul V. Jack,son of Lewis and Carrie Scotten Jack, was born Oct. 20,1896, at Mt. Sterling and departed this life the evening of May 1,1992, at the Van Buren Co. Good Samaritan Home, Keossauqua, at the age of 95. He married Lorrene Lancaster May 1,1952 in Keosauqua. Remaining to cherish his memory are his wife Lorrene, two daughters, Marlene Jack and Patricia Yarnell both of Keossauqua; a son, Lewis W. Jack of Des Moines and five grandchildren. Also survivng are two sisters, Mildred Cassidy of Ft. Madison and Edna Newbold of Boone, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters. Graveside services were held May 5,1992 at the Harness Cemetery in Mt. Sterling.
