FARMINGTON
DEATH OF DAVID SULLIVAN.

Word came to relatives Wednesday that David Sullivan, aged 71 years, had died at the Graham hospital in Keokuk Tuesday morning. He had been sick for one week and on Monday was taken to the hospital and underwent an operation from which he failed to rally. He was a well known west of town farmer, where he lived most of his life until several years ago. He had been making his home with his son Walter. In December 1880, he was united in marriage with Miss Amelia Vornkahl, who died in July, 1900 three children were born to this union, two passing away in infancy. Those surviving are the son Walter of Keokuk and three grandchildren, two brothers, Chas. Sullivan of Augusta, Kansas, and Harvey Sullivan of near Mt. Sterling, and three sisters, Mrs. Belle Weller of near Bentonsport, Mrs. Cynthia Coffin and Mrs. Fred Folker, both of near Farmington and several more distant relatives and a large circle of friends. The funeral was held Friday afternoon at the rural Acasto Chapel west of here Rt 3. Interment was in the family lot at the Acasto-Christy cemetery.
