William H. Stone.

Died at Farmington, Iowa, William H. Stone who was born at Mt. Sterling, Iowa, September 27th, 1859.

He was married to Miss Ella Blatterman in November, 1887, at Mt. Sterling; to them was born one son. About twenty years ago they located in Farmington where Mr. Stone engaged in the business of buying and shipping horses. Two years ago his health failed and he has been more or less afflicted ever since.

Saturday night the 16th he was taken with a severe attack of diabetes and grew worse as time went by and he suffered in great agony until death came to his relief at 7 o’clock p.m., March 19th, 1912, at the age of 52 years, 6 months, 22 days. He leaves to mourn his death his devoted wife, his son Roy and family of Farmington, an uncle, Ephriam Heald of near Mt. Sterling; an aunt, Mrs. Geo. McDaniel and family of Keokuk, Iowa; also many friends at Farmington and Mt. Sterling who deeply sympathize with the bereaved family in their affliction.

Funeral services were held at his home on State Street at 2 p.m. March 21, Elder Jas. McKiernan in charge. Interment in Farmington Cemetery.
