Gail J. Radestock, 73, of Willow Creek, Calif., died Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, at his home.

He was the son of Harley and Cora Radestock.

Mr. Radestock was a native of Van Buren County. He was a former member of Vista Chamber of Commerce in Vista, Calif., where he served as a board member and was elected president.

He was an avid gardener and loved woodworking and bowling. He also loved attending the Willow Creek Bible Church with his wife, Vivian.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Douglas Radestock of Vista; four grandchildren; two nephews; his aunt and uncle; and many other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one daughter.

A memorial service for Mr. Radestock was held Saturday, February 2, at the Church of Christ in Arcata, Calif., with Pastors Ted Rivers and Ronnie Kinnaird officiating.

The graveside committal service was held Saturday, February 2, in Bonaparte Cemetery in Bonaparte with the Rev. Larry Wagner officiating.
Memorials have been established for Hospice of Humboldt, 2010 Myrle Ave., Eureka, CA 95501 and the American Cancer Society, 2042 F St., Eureka, CA 95501 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
Hofbauer Funeral Home in Donnellson was in charge of arrangements.
