Floyd Iowa Miller, fifth child of Mr. & Mrs. Samuel Miller, was born near Bonaparte, June 27, 1902, and died at the home of his mother on April 15, 1923, at the age of 21 years, 8 months and 21 days.

Floyd lived all his life in Bonaparte. He worked with W.A. Steadman in concrete work and masonry for the last few years. He was his mother's main help about the house. Having many friends and being well liked by everyone he will be sadly missed.

He leaves to mourn his early death, his mother; one sister, Mrs. Howard Stevens of Bonaparte; four brothers, Henry and Paul of Chicago, and Albert and Everett of Bonaparte, and many other relatives and friends.

About two weeks ago he was taken ill with pneumonia which ran into brain fever, which caused his death. After many hours of intense suffering, he passed peacefully away Tuesday at about 6 p.m.

Funeral services were held at the Baptist church at 2:30 Thursday afternoon with Rev. Coppoc in charge and burial was in the Bonaparte cemetery.
